I dont see how we can put the rangers fc 2012 into division 3 because of past deeds, after all they have only been going for a couple of days. I do however think that as a new club they must apply for membership of the SFA and as such start in the lowest league. Lets make sure when we are discussing this situation we are very clear there are two clubs involved firstly rangers 1872-2012 who must have all trophies taken from them through the cheating years (Celtic fc 12 in a row) and The rangers fc 2012 who must start in division 3, with as we speak 5 days history, at least they have started better than rangers 1872-2012 as they haven't as yet stated that they won't sign Roman Catholics.

Just a thought, Rangers in Liquidation after winning their recent court case are given a new "slap on the wrist", suspended from the Scottish Cup for one season, which when they are liquidated is carried forward to The Rangers as part of retaining their "tainted history"!!!!!

I know it sounds ridiculous, but some of the decisions by the Authorities at times appear to be verging on a comedy show, with their statements and twitters, should we really call them the "Tainted Authorities"!!

OK, The Rangers could not take part and will lose revenue, BUT not much as they would be able to take part in the Scottish Challenge Cup, where I am sure they would recoup some of their " lost revenue" if they are placed in the SFL.

So a nice little earner for them The Rangers and also acquiring the Rangers in Liquidation "tainted history" very cheaply!!!!!

So this "slap on the wrist", would be more like a "golden handshake"!!! especially for the Rangers in liquidation fans.

Dunno if The Rangers have any fans yet seeing they are a new company which is trying to be a new football club, but they sure as hell would have them if the "tainted history" got passed over to them!!!

I just hope the independant tribunal are not for giving "handshakes" and will not "walk away" from suspending or expelling the club Rangers in liquidation.

Surely this would leave the "SPL share" in limbo especially if it was a suspension for a year.

Curious how the legal arguements would work out as Mr Green tries to buy the one pound "SPL share" with Rangers in liquidation being suspended or even expelled?

Would he offer two pounds for the immediate tranfer of the "SPL Share"?

Would any of the chairmen of the SPL clubs bring up this factor when they discuss and vote on a transfer of the SPL share.

I BLOODY WELL HOPE SO!!!

As surely they cannot give a "Tainted SPL share" which belonged to Rangers in liquidation to a new company called The Rangers which currently is not even a football club and has not even played one football game , not even a "friendly"

If all else fails for The Rangers I wonder if Mr Green would consider basketball, he could always ask for advice from a previous owner of the Rangers in liquidation, who was also involved that sport and then rename his team as The Govan Rangers Trotters, end up doing exhibition games around the world!

if Rangers where to get back into the SPL, why not get rid of the dead wood, like teams that bring nothing into the game like St johnstone, kilmarnock,no fans of note not like the Gers. and any team that dont have over say 6,000 fans, put into the third division after all that is what is getting proposed,
