Helping the police with their inquiries?

It would appear that Strathclyde’s finest are not best pleased with Duff & Phelps.

The guys looking into the Whyte takeover of Rangers believe that the administrators have failed dismally to provide Strathclyde police with the documents they require to complete their investigation.

My source believes some vital paperwork that they have requested cannot be currently located by Duff & Phelps.

Some of the documentation that the cops do have has been scrutinised by a Home Office hand writing expert.

Police insiders consider the preliminary report to Crown Office to be seriously incomplete.

The canteen chat inside Strathclyde Police is that Duff & Phelps’ conduct on this has been “unprofessional and unhelpful and verging on the obstructive”.

Oh dear…
