Severe weather warning Edmiston Drive area.
Just when you thought there was an autumnal tranquillity to events around Sevco stand by for a new storm that could well leave structural damage around the Ibrox area and casualties caught up in the debris following this new blue blizzard.
In the eye of the storm a name from the past, a zombie like creature rising from the dark side to cause mayhem, mischief and madness.
Craigie Whyte is back and back with a bang!
You could say “Hurricane Craigie” is set to cause a deep, deep depression over Ibrox that could well scupper plans for a ‘float’ and leave Charlie and the boys struggling to stay afloat!
Craigie is set to go public this week with a list of claims that are sure to interest Lord Hodge, insolvency firm BDO, the police, the FSA (Financial Services Authority) and the ‘follow-follow’ boys from Larkhall to Lisburn.
The financial juggler extraordinaire, former billionaire will claim amongst other things that:
· He, Craig Whyte, introduced Charles Green to Duff & Phelps.
· Duff & Phelps knew all about the Ticketus deal.
Craig Whyte will also question why administrators Duff & Phelps were allowed to amass £3,121,683 in fees.
Craig Whyte questioning the probity of Duff & Phelps?
Surely not…
A perfect storm is a confluence or convergence of events that exacerbates a situation.
Time to batten down the hatches!

Biscuit ersed bairns ? I dont even want to begin to wonder where you got that expression from Wallace . Rangers where financially mismanaged by two wreckless dictators and deserve to be punished , but spare us the drivel of “the harm Rangers have done to Scottish football” please ! Every SPL club could have let Rangers newco into the top flight thus avoiding anymore lost revenue but declined Rangers application in favour if “sporting integrity” …so dont blame Rangers if smaller clubs start to struggle ,we apologised and asked to be let back in …we could have done no more !
October 17, 2012 at 9:34 pm
PaulMc
Apologised? I think we all missed that one, and they were chancing their arm by asking to be let into the SPL.
New clubs enter at the lowest division, even then they are supposed to have 3 years worth of audited accounts, which The Rangers do not. So the rules have been adjusted to suit one club.

The Wallace
To the Zombie contingent who read Phil’s articles,
Why do you behave in such a niggardly fashion when you are being appraised of the latest news about your sick fledgeling club and it’s soon to be defunct oldco? You might be getting ribbed, but when it comes to news you usually get it here first, unfortunately it’s been all bad, but none of you seem capable of discovering truthful information for yourselves and no one else is giving you the truth, I repeat this for the slow of reading, No one else apart from the people you don’t seem to like a lot, is telling you how it is. There are no The Rangers sites that seem to be interested in what these charlatans are and have been doing to your club. They are more interested in blaming Peter Lawell, people like Phil, the Pope or all three. You have been truly lead down the ‘Primrose’ path by the people you have trusted. Face it your club old or new are funked and being hostile, bitter or pedantic to people or clubs that are innocent of the causes of your fate says a lot about your character. Your club/s have been put in a uniquely unenviable position and as our former arch-rivals we do take a certain delight in going into the minutiae of the said Downfall and it’s aftermath, BUT we did not put you in the position you are in. Neither did Phil, he observed, investigated and reported honestly the situation to us ALL who read his articles and/or his book. You should, if you cannot bring yourselves to thank him, at least give him the credit he deserves for keeping us informed and uncovering substantial amounts of information as this farce developed. Do you realise the damage those who ran your club into the ground have done to the game in Scotland? And the bad name your fellow fans vitriol aimed at the journalists and officials involved in covering this story has caused. I can tell you now you are making a bed that is going to be very uncomfortable to lie in. Try being more like real men than biscuit ersed bairns.

Terrific stuff and now the BBC are onto it too. I’ve too many friends who follow Rangers not to feel their pain and anguish. Yet for the likes of some who will not be named (bf) and those who are in constant denial how can it pan out when the BBC talks of a “new club”. The stripping of titles is immaterial. The Rangers are struggling in their infancy, at least on their travels, no matter what anyone says. My friends however, will remain my friends, as for the rest, enjoy the chase!

Interesting to see what kind of spin anyone in the MSM would put on this were they to report it.
One would figure
- it would burst Chuckles balloon, which would have the recent converts in forment => board up yer windaes for the reporter concerned.
- it would lend a degree of credibility to the boss-eyed thousandaire => board up yer windaes
- it would do nothing to improve the situation in any other way, and since the bears don’t do bad news (or walking away) => board up yer windaes.
Reckon it will be a 50 word bite sneaked onto page 15 about how Lord Hodge has shat on the whole parade, so it’s his fault. Not anticipating a front page splash. Any chance your pal Alex at C4 could break it?
Another corker if it happens. Well done!

I told everyone who’d listen Whyte was nothing more than a frontman with SDM the choreographer in the wings.
The academy award winning twist was the bold Craigie bhoy gazumping the theater company of Murray, Smith & co by bringing wee Chuck in to do the dirty.

A quick scan of the msm media online suggests they have yet to pick up this nugget or more likely pluck up the cojones to run it.
It was interesting to hear Charlie and his boys state the new club were debt and litigation free on Jeff Randall live last week whilst promoting his share issue. Perhaps Craig misread the script!!!
The last time such a major flotation device sank prematurely they created a film about its short life. Sevconians must be watching this farce and wondering if Charlie really is as unsinkable as Molly Brown.
Phil, another scoop for the online internet bampots, keep up the good work.
October 17, 2012 at 9:29 am
tambutnotbam
But Lord Hodge himself directly questioned the probity of Duff and Phelps on 22-6-2012.
Marl Daly and the BBC directly questioned the probity of Duff and Phelps a full month earlier in their documentary Rangers — The Men Who Sold The Jerseys.
I may have missed it but I have never seen Lord Hodge and/or the BBC say their doubts, anxieties and demands(from Lord Hodge in Edinburghs Court of Session) have been satisfactorily addressed.
I repeat, the demands placed on Duff and Phelps by Lord Hodge to prove to his satisfaction that they did not act under a conflict of interest while Administering the Ibrox Club dates back to the 22nd June 2012.

scottsman78
It’s getting to the stage where it’s hard to keep up with all this. What is the motive for Whyte?
Maybe Green/Duff & Phelps where supposed to pay him off for selling the Rangers(IA) assets so low? Maybe because the CVA failed or because the Huns got Div3 instead of SPL or Div1 Green couldn’t afford the pay off. Maybe Dudd & Plebs pocketted their share?
Oh dear, whatever the situation is, it seems the project hasn’t gone to plan at all for a very long time.
For the minority genuine, fair and open minded Rangers fans I truly feel sorry.
For the bigoted idiots who behave like sub humans at home and trashed the likes of Manchester and Barcelona away, who have a misplaced superiority complex and whose hatered of catholics and other ethnics is driven by fear and their own insecurities, all I have to say is; karma is taking one massive dump on you from a heavenly height.
